The S33 is an unusual speaker. It points you in the direction. Let's take a look at its unique features: an 18 inch unit at the front and a 15 inch unit at the back. In active operation mode, different radiation characteristics can be produced using corresponding presets. The cardioid radiation mode maximizes the attenuation of the energy behind it, and can attenuate sound pressure exceeding 15dB throughout the entire low-frequency spectrum. The end shot mode can maximize the energy in the front while partially weakening the energy in the back. Because of this directional low-frequency setting, the sound is more sturdy and musically pleasing, especially in a very reverberant sound field. Performers on stage or staff behind the stage also do not experience much audio interference.
S33 can also be used for other configurations. Due to its consistent width and suspension device with the linear array system, it can be perfectly integrated with the VR36 linear array system. There are various stacking methods - traditional left and right stacking mode, horizontally arranged in rows in front of the stage, complete vertical stacking or hanging.
